Carbon Fiber PRO Shaft 5/16-18 - 12.4mm

I recently ordered my dream cue (leaving out brand names intentionally) which had a 4 week lead time. Originally, I did not upgrade the shaft with their $500 (highly rated) carbon fiber option due to cost. Rather, I ordered this Raven pro shaft for about 1/2 the price.

After obsessing over reviews and concern about the proper fit of the Raven shaft (still yet to receive my cue), I decided to upgrade to their $500 carbon option.

In 100% transparency, I planned on returning the Raven shaft once I received the cue with upgraded shaft - I thought there would be no comparison. I was right - there was no comparison… I have never shot better than I do with the Raven carbon pro shaft.

I wanted to not believe it, but after several tournaments I must come to terms with the truth. I’m beyond impressed with the quality and performance of the Raven pro shaft. This has become my primary shaft, and the other upgraded shaft is just held as a backup.

After the positive reviews on youtube I ordered the carbon fiber PRO shaft. I'm an newer player and just start to use english when I have to. On longer shots the carbon fiber shaft is much easier to aim with and gives me the confidence during 8-, 9- and 10-ball matches. The shaft came with a good tip already installed (Taom). For me: Worth every cent!

It's a great shaft. I love the feel of it. Still probably get another one for back up. It's half the price of most carbon fiber shafts. Other cheap ones come with bad tips. The tip on this one is great. It's not a cheap one. But it feels like a expensive one. Thanks guys
